ASH WEDNESDAY AND LENTEN SERVICES
You are invited to attend an Ash Wednesday Supper and Service on Wednesday, February 17th at 6pm in the Chapel (large room next to our sanctuary). A light supper of soup and bread will be served. A Communion Service around the tables will follow at 6:45pm. If you would like the disposition of ashes, Pastor Vicky will make them available following the service.

Throughout the Lenten season, (February 17, 25, March 3, 10, & 17), we will be having light soup and bread suppers and Bible Study in the Chapel every Wednesday evening at 6p.m. Pastor Vicky will begin the Bible Study at 6:45 -7:30p.m. The study we will use for the first three sessions is by author Lee Strobel called, “Faith Under Fire”. Using this study, we will be on a quest for the truth about Jesus, the resurrection and universalism. Through video, written material, and discussion, this study dismisses easy answers, and we will sift through fascinating historical evidence and expert testimony – watching video segments in which leading Christian and non-Christian voices engage in debate on compelling topics.
During the cold of winter, come and enjoy the warmth of good food and fellowship while you feed your spirit during the Lenten season. All dinners are free and everyone is invited. Please call the church office and let us know you are attending, so that we may adequately prepare the food. (973) 379-4320
