Church Services The Springfield Presbyterian Church invites you to worship with us Sundays at 10:15 AM. The sanctuary is located at 210 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ, at the intersection with Church Mall. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and for special occasions. Join us for a coffee and fellowship hour following worship. *Summer Worship* - 9:30 AM, from July 1st to Labor Day Sunday
Nursery care is available during services, Sundays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Children's Church is from 10:30 to 11:15 AM.
Sunday School Church school classes for all ages are held every Sunday at 9:00 AM in the Parish House. A carefully coordinated Bible curriculum is administered by volunteer church members. During the year additional courses of instruction are scheduled for confirmation, adult education, and occasional "mini-courses." Sunday school students participate in worship through the Children's Choir and Christmas pageant. The Sunday school participates in community outreach, for example through Thanksgiving food drives and the Heiffer Project. In addition, the Sunday School hosts fellowship events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Santa's Workshop, Ice Cream Social, and much more! *Vacation Bible Camp* - Summer 2007 - dates to be announced
Choir Our choir consists of those in our midst who love to sing. It is not necessary to be able neither to read music nor to be a member of the church. The choir sings every Sunday morning at the 10:15 service and on certain other special occasions. Rehearsal is on Thursdays at 8:00 PM in our Chapel at the corner of Morris Avenue and Church Mall. (the building next to the sanctuary) Our choir director, Dr. John H. Bunnell, has had many years of experience with leading children and adults. Under his guidance, the choir sings a variety of music from church classics to contemporary songs. With God's help, they contribute to the singing of praise to God during worship. The Ladies' Evening Group is part of the Presbyterian Women of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) It meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM from September through June. Projects include the Rummage Sale, the Pasta Dinner, and other outreach activities.
Kaffeeklatsch Bible Study Kaffeeklatsch was founded in 1973 to be an inter-generation, inter-denominational, and inter-faith opportunity for spiritual growth. Kaffeeklatsch invites all women to come on the first and third Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Meetings are held in the Conference Room of the Parish House, where members gather in fellowship to share, to pray, and to study.
The Men's Fellowship meets on the second Saturday of every month at 8:30 AM. The group gathers over breakfast to study and worship together.
